Such products help to repair and soothe the skin. It is used to soothe irritation and speed healing after acne. It can be used in eye creams to soothe sensitive skin around the eyes and soften fine lines. Used in aftershave lotions and balms to soothe the skin and reduce possible irritation. In baby creams, anti-rash creams and other baby care products to help keep baby skin soft and prevent irritation. In therapeutic creams for minor wounds, cuts and burns, Allantoin is used to support the healing process of the skin. Physical Structure: Allantoin is a white or slightly cream-colored, odorless powder in pure form. It can often have a fine crystalline structure. Its melting point is approximately 175°C to 176°C. Recommended usage rate: 0.5-2% in moisturizing creams and lotions to increase skin moisture and soothe; 0.5-2% in soothing and healing products formulated for irritated, sensitive or damaged skin; 0.5-2% in acne treatment products to soothe the skin and support the healing process. 5 -1% in eye contour products to moisturize and soothe sensitive skin around the eyes; 0.2-0.5% in aftershave products to soothe irritation and promote skin healing; 0.5 -2% in aftershave products to soothe irritation and promote skin healing; 0.5-1% in baby care products to soften and protect baby skin; 0.5-2% in wound healing creams.
